In my efforts to ramp up the frequency of my posts, I wanted to share my latest Addiction du jour, Coastr. Coastr is a social networking site focused around beer, places to drink beer, and of course people who drink beer. You can review all your favorite types of beer and your favorite places to drink them. Add Brews and Bars to your profile, and see other people with similar tastes. For you techies out there, this app is built on Ruby with plenty of RSS syndication and ajaxy searches built in. The site is rather simple, but fun and strangely addicting. Just downloaded the Beta of the Firebug Firefox extension. I’ve only played with it for about 2 minutes, and can already tell its a gem. This extension allows for real-time viewing, debugging and editing of HTML, CSS, and javascript. Read about the its full set of features on the site. I suggest taking a quick minute to download and give it a whirl.
